Sherrie received her Master of Education in Counseling in 2011 from Winthrop University  in  Rock Hill,SC . Sherrie is dual licensed In North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and an Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist.  Sherrie is a member of the American Counseling Association and North Carolina Counseling Association.

Sherrie has worked in a variety of settings including, schools, college campuses, clinics, multi-disciplinary practices and private practice.  She has also had the privilege of teaching undergraduate courses in self sufficiency skills and counseling.

Sherrie is devoted to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere where one can explore the issues that are interfering with their life functioning.  Sherrie is EMDR trained and  takes a personalized approach to treatment which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and/or Psycho-education.
